Anxiety is a normal feeling that we have all experienced at some point in our lives, it stems from our bodies fight or flight response, most of us have had anxious thoughts or worries at times of stress or when taking exams, driving tests, awaiting medical results.

Anxiety, however, for some people becomes a constant part of life...

A relentless chatter within the mind, the more you listen the more it grows. Anxiety produces not only mental but physical symptoms, as well as impacting upon everyday life, work, socialising and relationships. For some people anxiety may also be linked to underlying health issues, such as diabetes, heart disease or pain.

There is now clear evidence with regard to the gut-brain axis, what we eat, can and does effect out mental health. Hypnotherapy and mind coaching is aimed at providing you with the skills and positivity in order to allow change to happen.

Initial Consultation

Before we begin, we will have a free 15-30 minute initial telephone consultation so I can find out as much as possible about you, the challenges you are facing and how I can help. This is also your opportunity to ask questions about hypnotherapy and coaching so you feel comfortable and confident should you decide to work with me.

Intake Form

There will also be an intake form for you to fill in, about your diet, lifestyle and sleep as I firmly believe that you cannot treat the body and mind separately. To achieve lasting change and restore a healthy balance, it is vital that the body and mind are working together in a healthy way.

Sessions

We can work together for a single session or for a package of 6 sessions, depending on your individual needs. Most clients I work with need 6 sessions to tackle their problems, but in some cases, one session is enough. I usually meet with clients each week as this ensures we can make good progress to you achieving your goals.

Every client is different, and our struggles are unique and personal. This is why I tailor our sessions, developing a clear strategy for your specific needs. However, when we work together there are a few key skills and strategies I use to help you achieve your goals.

First off, I will help you take control of the inner voice that seems to be in charge of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I can help you interrupt the negative thought loop and take back control so you are in charge.

I will also help you develop mindfulness techniques to help you stay present and deal with your struggles in the here and now. This will involve some meditation techniques for you to focus your mind and stay in control of your thoughts and behaviours, quietening your inner voice.
